WoodenAnimal Heads is part of Luxigo. Luxigo has been engaged in laser cutting and engraving of various materials since 2014 and was founded by Daan van Duijn.HoutenDierenkoppen.nl went online with a separate webshop in 2021.

With a love for computer-controlled machines, laser cutters quickly became interesting machines that I wanted to own.During my Mechanical Engineering studies at TUDelft, I was a student assistant in the faculty workshop for several years. Even though I found teaching turning and milling very interesting, my attention was drawn to the laser cutter that was purchased by the faculty.During my studies, I started Luxigo, a laser cutting company that deals with custom cutting of designs that are supplied.

Shortly after moving to larger premises in 2020, Corona also came around the corner in the Netherlands. During the Corona period there were far fewer requests. To still survive, I started my own product lines on luxigo products.co.uk. 

The website HoutenDierenkoppen.nl is a part of luxigo products where only the wooden animal heads are offered in the web shop.
